Producers warned heat, humidity could create dangerous conditions for cattle

The hot weather could create dangerous conditions for Iowa cattle, according to the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association.

Temperatures are expected to hit the low 90s in central Iowa, according to the National Weather Service. And high temperatures and humidity could push the heat index to 100 by mid-afternoon, according to WHO-TV.
