Perkins Named Executive Vice President of BBU

Dr. Tommy Perkins of Willard, Mo. has been named executive vice president for Beefmaster Breeders United. He will assume his duties on January 1, 2009.
Prior to accepting the position with Beefmaster Breeders United, Perkins was Director of the Beef Teaching and Research Program and Professor for the Department of Agriculture, Missouri State University, Springfield, Mo.
Dr. Perkins received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from West Texas State University, Canyon, Texas. and his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. in Animal Breeding and Genetics.
